Employment Lawyer

EATON

A global firm with a growing Australian practice is expanding its Sydney employment team. They act for a broad client base across industries, on both contentious and advisory workplace matters.

The role

A genuine split between dispute work and advice. Court and tribunal litigation, wage underpayment and compliance reviews, regulator-facing matters, enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes, and workplace investigations on the contentious side. Day-to-day advisory on contracts, policies, restructures and the workforce side of corporate deals, plus critical incident response. You'll run your own matters, mentor juniors, and develop client relationships of your own.

Why consider?

The role brings advisory and disputes together so your day to day does not stagnate. The team work alongside Partners on high-profile and cross-border matters, feeding off a large international network. Flexible working is standard, and remuneration is set to the candidate rather than a fixed band.

You'll bring

  • Two to eight years' experience in employment law from private practice
  • The judgment to carry matters with light supervision
  • Interest in winning and growing work
