About the role
As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and impact across Beyond Blue’s workplace mental health Programs, partnerships and service offerings.
Acting as the key acquisition lead, you will develop and deliver targeted sales strategies across government, public sector and related markets, securing high-value partnerships and sustainable revenue streams.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, combining commercial acumen with a passion for improving mental health outcomes at scale. Success in this role will come from building a strong pipeline, converting opportunities and growing sustainable partnerships that extend Beyond Blue’s impact.
About you
You are a commercially savvy and purpose-driven business development professional with a strong track record in strategic sales, ideally within health, mental health or workplace wellbeing. You’re confident navigating complex procurement environments, influencing senior stakeholders and closing high-value opportunities.
You will bring
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing, health or related discipline), with strong experience in sales or business development within the health sector
- Proven experience in strategic sales, enterprise business development or government account management, including navigating complex procurement, tendering and contracting environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior decision-makers
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform strategy and drive conversion
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, including identifying growth opportunities, travelling where needed, and and maintaining strong sales, stakeholder and proposal management discipline
