The Role

Reporting to senior management, the Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for facade and external envelope packages across a range of large-scale projects.

You will work closely with Directors, Project Managers, Design Managers, Engineers, Suppliers, Clients, and Builders. You will develop a strong technical understanding of facade systems and experience pricing commercial construction packages within the facade, glazing, cladding or architectural building envelope sector.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end tender submissions and detailed cost estimation for specialised facade packages.
• Reviewing complex architectural drawings and conducting precise material take-offs.
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal pricing and lead times.
• Conduct value engineering reviews to maximise project cost-efficiency and buildability.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with design, engineering, and client teams from bid to project handover.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Blueprint Literacy: Skilled in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Strong communication skills with a proven track record of managing stakeholders effectively.
• Meticulous & Organised: Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational capabilities.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard estimating software.
• Entry-Level Friendly: Open to recent graduates.
