Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are now seeking a Contract Administrator to join our high-performing team on an exciting commercial project in Sydney.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage procurement and tenders; Prepare tender packages, obtain quotes, and award contracts in line with company procedures.
• Administer contracts; Manage head contracts, subcontract agreements, variations, notices, and compliance with KPIs.
• Financial control and forecasting; Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, assess payment claims, and manage invoices.
• Systems and documentation; Maintain records and administer projects using construction based software.
• Risk and dispute management; Identify risks, resolve contractual issues, and ensure SOPA compliance.
• Project close-out; Finalise accounts, secure warranties/deeds, close defects within one month of PC, and ensure smooth client handover.
• Performance targets; Meet subcontractor engagement targets, avoid budget variations and delays, and ensure timely contract and payment processing.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator with a head contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal terms, and risk identification.
• Ability to write comprehensive scope of works with a focus on constructability.
• Proven ability to reduce costs, increase profitability, and ensure legal compliance.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving abilities.
