Jacksons Drawing Supplies a long-established WA family owned company, is seeking a Part-time Purchasing Assistant in our Head Office in Balcatta
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated strong time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience in a similar purchasing, administration, or support role
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a positive and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently, collaboratively, and professionally within a small team environment
- An understanding of inventory control and retail store ordering processes will be highly regarded
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product barcode information
- Process and input store orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Update pricing information as directed
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and issues, and contribute practical solutions where required
- Prepare and analyse Excel-based reports from Retail Express, including sales data, campaign performance, and trends, and provide insights to the Purchasing Manager
- Conduct store inventory checks and stock counts, and report discrepancies as required
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders and follow up on outstanding items
- Manage and resolve escalated product-related issues and complaints
- Identify and support opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and process effectiveness
- Undertake other duties as reasonably requested by Management
