Jacksons Drawing Supplies a long-established WA family owned company, is seeking a Part-time Purchasing Assistant in our Head Office in Balcatta

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated strong time management and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Previous experience in a similar purchasing, administration, or support role
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a positive and professional attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently, collaboratively, and professionally within a small team environment
  • An understanding of inventory control and retail store ordering processes will be highly regarded

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update product barcode information
  • Process and input store orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Update pricing information as directed
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and issues, and contribute practical solutions where required
  • Prepare and analyse Excel-based reports from Retail Express, including sales data, campaign performance, and trends, and provide insights to the Purchasing Manager
  • Conduct store inventory checks and stock counts, and report discrepancies as required
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding orders and follow up on outstanding items
  • Manage and resolve escalated product-related issues and complaints
  • Identify and support opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and process effectiveness
  • Undertake other duties as reasonably requested by Management
