Details: This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong strategic policy experience and a passion for addressing domestic, family and sexual violence. The ACT has just released the first ACT Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Strategy 2026-36 and is now entering the delivery phase for actions under the First Action Plan.
You will work closely with your colleagues and the Executive to shape and oversee exciting, diverse and complex projects and policy programs. Working across government and with the community sector, you will support your teams to deliver outcomes which contribute to building a capable, coordinated, and connected response to domestic, family and sexual violence.
As part of a small leadership team, you will work closely with the Executive to guide and manage the strategic direction of the Office, support whole-of-Office integration and alignment, and deliver on Office priorities.
You will also use your management and leadership skills in managing large teams across all levels which are designed to be flexible and off er staff opportunities to work across the office on projects of interest as resources are required.

Eligibility/Other requirements
- A relevant Tertiary degree or experience working in DFSV policy will be highly regarded.
- As this role is likely to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people, cultural awareness, the capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for three months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
