The Role Of An Assistant Venue Manager

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you’ll be a key leader in the day-to-day running of the venue.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading food & beverage service in a high-volume restaurant & Bar in Southbank
• Supporting and overseeing operations, compliance, and customer experience
• Being present on the floor — coaching teams, supporting, and engaging with guests
• Opening and closing the venue, cash handling, and shift accountability
• Working a rotating roster including nights and weekends

• Proven experience in food & beverage-led venues
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage busy teams
• Excellent attention to detail and operational awareness
• A passion for service, presentation, and guest experience
• A proactive, calm and approachable manner
