Financial Controller

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a talented, hands-on Financial Controller to join their fast-growing consumer brand as they scale up here at home and look to expand into new international markets. This is a great opportunity for a finance leader who wants to help shape the future of a brand that’s making waves in both retail and online channels.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a solid background in consumer brands—specifically retail, ecommerce, or consumer goods—as your experience in this space is essential to their success.

The Role

As Financial Controller, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Founder & CEO, providing the financial insights and oversight needed to scale the business. Beyond the numbers, you’ll partner with operations to ensure planned execution and financial outcomes are in sync.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full finance function—from budgets and forecasts to reporting and cash flow.
• Drive pricing strategy, margin analysis, and product profitability for new launches.
• Effectively manage revenue, margins, and cash flow.
• Manage accurate global tax reporting and compliance.
• Review and improve reporting to enable leadership make informed decisions.
• Build scalable processes that keep pace with rapid growth.

About you

You’ll demonstrate significant experience with consumer-facing brands—specifically in retail, ecommerce, or consumer goods manufacturing. You will be CA or CPA qualified, and driven to work autonomously as the sole finance professional within this team. You will have a proven track record of balancing strong organisational rigor with a real drive for commercial success.
