General Insurance Investigator

OIS Global is a national professional services firm specialising in insurance investigations. We are currently seeking investigators to join our dedicated General Insurance practice in VIC and NSW.

Casual and contractor opportunities are available.

The Role

As an investigator with OIS Global, you will conduct investigations across a broad range of general insurance claims, including but not limited to:

• Motor vehicle thefts
• Motor vehicle accidents
• Burglary
• Fire and property related incidents

You will be provided with comprehensive training, systems support and ongoing operational guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analysing case and claims documentation
• Arranging and conducting professional interviews with relevant parties
• Recording interviews using approved digital audio recording equipment
• Inspecting, examining, photographing, and video recording incident and accident scenes
• Obtaining, collating, and analysing supporting documentation and evidence
• Preparing clear, accurate, and professionally written investigation reports
• Managing workloads in line with strict deadlines and service timeframes

About You

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Current VIC/NSW Private Security Individual Licence
• Certificate III in Investigative Services (mandatory)
• Prior investigation experience (preferred)
• Law enforcement or policing background (highly regarded)
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Strong organisational and time management capability
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Proven ability to build rapport and conduct effective interviews
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Proficient computer skills,
