National Projects Manager | Hospital & Aged Care
Salus Recruitment
A unique opportunity has become available for a National Project Manager to lead and grow a specialist project division within a global healthcare technology organisation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking an established project function, strengthening processes, managing a team, and creating a growth strategy that will significantly increase project revenue over the coming years. The role will combine strategic business development, relationship management, project oversight, and people leadership. You will be responsible for driving the project pipeline, developing relationships with key industry stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of complex healthcare and infrastructure projects.
We are looking for someone with experience in:
- Project management within complex, long-cycle environments
- Capital sales, commercial fit-outs, construction, healthcare, furniture, infrastructure, or similar industries
- Managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, documentation, and detailed processes
- Building relationships with architects, builders, consultants, and end users
- Leading teams and improving processes to support successful project delivery
- Owning a revenue target, pipeline, or business growth initiative
Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are open to candidates from adjacent industries where the skills are transferable, including commercial fit-outs, construction, facilities management, or large-scale project environments.
This role will suit someone who is:
- A strong people leader who can coach, mentor, and develop a team
- Comfortable managing remotely across multiple states
- Able to influence a range of stakeholders, from internal teams through to architects, builders, and customers
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and build a pipeline
- Organised and process-focused, with a strong understanding of project governance and documentation
- Confident managing different personalities and working styles
- Someone who enjoys creating structure, improving ways of working, and making an impact
You will need to balance strategic thinking with practical execution, and drive growth while ensuring projects are delivered successfully.
What’s In It For You
- Opportunity to shape and grow a project business with significant potential
- Ownership of a national project function and growth strategy
- Ability to build strong relationships across healthcare, infrastructure, and commercial sectors
- Opportunity to develop and improve processes, systems, and team capability
- Work within a supportive organisation with strong market presence and established customer relationships
