Primary Duties

The PMO Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining high-quality schedules across the EOS Defence programs portfolio, ensuring alignment between project delivery plans, production activities, and contractual requirements.

The role maintains the single source of truth and provides portfolio-level visibility through structured reporting and insights, supports the establishment of consistent scheduling standards and governance, and works closely with project managers and stakeholders to improve planning quality, manage dependencies, and enable effective execution across programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), including milestones, dependencies, critical path, constraints, and baselines.
  • Develop and manage Project Schedules aligned with ASDEFCON contracting frameworks.
  • Lead portfolio-level reporting using MS Project, MS Planner, and M365 tools.
  • Monitor progress and provide insights into schedule performance, risks, and forecast impacts.
  • Train and support Project Managers in using MS Planner for team-level execution and tracking.
  • Promote consistent planning and reporting practices across the EOS Defence portfolio.
  • Assess resource requirements, including time, personnel, and materials, to support milestone delivery.
  • Improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and embed PMO scheduling standards, templates, and governance.
  • Support change management activities to embed new planning tools and processes.
  • Work with Project Managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and dependencies.
  • Facilitate planning workshops to challenge assumptions and improve schedule quality.
  • Identify schedule conflicts and support risk management across project resources and budgets.
  • Ensure alignment between contractual obligations, delivery plans, and reporting.

Key Attributes

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Project (including critical path, baselining, and dependencies).
  • Skilled in interpreting commercial and contractual requirements.

  • Initiative-taking, “go-getter” attitude with strong ownership of outcomes.

Experience

  • Preferred Certification PMI-SP / PSP
  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role supporting large-scale programs (not just single projects), ideally involving multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Defence / ASDEFCON methodology exposure desirable.
  • Experience working in PMO environments.
