We are seeking an experience Specialist Engineer to provide technical assistance to key Defence Projects. Based in Brindabella Business Park, Canberra and supported through your previous combat management systems experience this position is responsible for project and key deliverable support to IAMD capability.
Key Project deliverables will include but not limited to
- Deliver technical assessments, design reviews, trade studies, configuration-controlled interface artefacts, and systems-engineering inputs that mature and de-risk MRAD option selection and cross-domain IAMD integration across sensors, networks, fire-control, and C2.
- Provide comprehensive technical analysis and guidance that aligns MRAD options with key Defence Projects and other joint programs to ensure coherent C2 architectures, interoperable data pathways, and effective joint and combined kill-chain integration
- Manage scope development of IAMD across a broad range of technical disciplines including communication networks (Tactical Datalinks), Sensors, Integrated Fires Control, Combat Identification and Command and Control.
- Produce consolidated technical risk assessments, feasibility analyses, and stakeholder submissions
- Development and Review of operational requirements to support the development of the Capability Definition Documents (CDD).
About You
- Australian Citizen with a Minimum AGSVA NV2 or PV clearance;
- Demonstrated knowledge of and operational experience with Networked Integrated Fires and Battle Management activities
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operations of Missile Defence Networks and Combat Management Systems including underpinning Tactical Datalink Networks, Cooperative Engagement Capability (or similar), Electronic Warfare and Combat ID (Identification Friend or Foe) systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the development of Defence documents in the ADF environment, including the ADF Capability Life Cycle.
