Procurement Manager - Cloud Infrastructure (APAC)

Position Overview

Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager based in Sydney to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations for large-scale cloud infrastructure deployments across the APAC region. Operating as a critical business partner, this role ensures the timely procurement of networking components, data center racks, and long-lead equipment (LLE) required to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) expansion programs

Key Responsibilities

·

End-to-End Procurement: Drive sourcing execution for complex infrastructure, networking, and data center deployment programs.

·

Commercial Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, RFIs, RFQs, and comprehensive commercial evaluations with Tier-1 suppliers.

·

Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with engineering, site design, and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to validate Bills of Materials (BOMs).

·

Risk & Lifecycle Management: Identify supply chain constraints, manage long-lead items, and develop robust risk mitigation strategies.

·

Governance & Performance: Track supplier performance metrics, commercial compliance obligations, and core procurement KPIs.

·

Systems Utilization: Execute and oversee purchasing governance processes utilizing Oracle Procurement Cloud or equivalent enterprise platforms.

Required Qualifications & Experience

·

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

·

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial management.

·

Sector Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting data centers, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications, or major technology programs.

·

Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of enterprise ERP environments (Oracle Procurement Cloud, SAP, or similar).
