Publicist
SHA PR
SHA is looking for a full-time Publicist to work in the agency's Sydney office. This role will report into the Group Publicity Director and play an integral role in supporting the execution of publicity strategies for the agency's clients. The key to success in this role will be the ability to seamlessly manage day-to-day PR activity including client relationships, media and influencer relations, and oversee creative campaigns including events, creative mailers and social influencer campaigns.

- Is able to meet deadlines and manage working across multiple clients
Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Work alongside the PR team to create and implement PR strategies which meet client needs and KPIs
- Build relationships with key media to support client publicity coverage and confidently pitch to media to secure coverage for your portfolio of clients
- Develop press and publicity materials such as media releases, media matrixes, briefing documents and press kits
- Identify and engage with relevant Australian influencers and key opinion leaders to create and nurture relationships for agency clients
- Research and execute influencer and key opinion leader campaigns across social media platforms ensuring they are executed to brief and within budget
- Manage events under the guidance of the Group Publicity Director ensuring they are executed to brief and within budget
- Liaise directly with clients, ensuring clients have full confidence in your ability to lead their account. This includes leading client WIP meetings and working with the PR Assistant to ensure WIP agendas and minutes are detailed and sent in a timely manner
- Oversee PR assistant that works across the portfolio and delegate tasks, ensuring PR Assistant completes weekly and monthly coverage reports and ad-hoc campaign and event reporting
Some of the qualifications and qualities which will help to excel in this role include:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working in PR or Communications in Australia
- Understanding of the Australian media landscape including key titles and relationships with journalists
- Understanding of the Australian talent and influencer landscape
- Experience with programs such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office and CANVA
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with a high level of attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and assigned tasks
