Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this role is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial integrity and performance of the ANZ group. You will manage all financial reporting, ensure compliance, governance and partner with senior leaders to support commercial decision-making. Further responsibilities will include:
- Financial compliance processes, systems and controls are in place across ANZ
- Own the financial reporting cycle, including statutory accounts and audits
- Consolidated regional financial reporting for local and overseas leadership
- Leadership, coaching, and development of the Financial Accounting and shared services team
- Treasury management
- Champion ERP improvements and ensure data integrity across systems
- Tax compliance and transfer pricing
- Support ESG and non-financial reporting requirements
Ideally having started your career in a chartered firm, you will have strong financial controllership experience that you’ve since gained within a medium to large scale industry environment. The ability to balance your detail-driven nature with the capacity to understand the bigger picture is critical. Your exceptional communication skills will compliment your talent for interpreting and articulating complex information to all organisational levels.
