The Position

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join a structured team to support with end to end accounts payable processes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in busy and fast-paced environments and takes pride in collaborating with others. While accounts payable expertise underpins this role, its defining feature is the opportunity to act as a trusted senior presence within the team, contributing to operational governance, quality assurance, and the growth of Accounts Payable Officers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for an allocated portfolio of supplier accounts
  • Review and quality‑check work completed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to process
  • Manage and resolve complex supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assist management with day‑to‑day operational oversight, including workflow coordination and workload tracking
  • Monitor progress against KPIs, identifying risks to payment deadlines and escalating where required
  • Support reporting activities, including reconciliation status, aging, and exception tracking
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a structured, process‑driven environment

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a complex or senior accounts role
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. reconciliations, spreadsheets, tracking)
  • Reliable, collaborative, and confident operating within established processes
