Operations Manager (Part-time)

Part-time (3 days/week) | Reports to CEO | Hybrid work

Girls on Fire empowers girls and young women to develop confidence, resilience, and leadership through hands-on, interactive experiences. Our mission is to inspire and equip the next generation to step outside their comfort zones, challenge gender stereotypes, and build lifelong capability and self-belief.

We're in an exciting scale-up phase — delivering impactful programs nationally and working with a diverse network of partners, facilitators, and stakeholders. This role is central to making that growth safe, sustainable, and well-run.

The Role

The Operations Manager plays a critical coordination role in ensuring Girls on Fire delivers high-quality, safe, and scalable programs. Reporting to the CEO, you'll oversee operational delivery, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

This is a role with real variety and autonomy — and you'll see the direct impact of your work in the confidence of the girls and young women who come through our programs.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and a small operational team leading:

· Program delivery & logistics

· Governance, risk & compliance

· Systems, processes & scaling

· Stakeholder relationships

What We’re Looking For

· Strong operations/program management experience

· Comfortable with budgets, compliance & delivery

· Proactive, organised, and hands-on

· Passion for purpose-driven work

Package

· $90K FTE (pro rata, 3 days/week)

· Hybrid work including 1 day/week at Brookvale Office

· Super + NFP salary packaging

Child Safety

· WWCC required & Commitment to child-safe practices essential

· Police check required
