About the opportunity
In this newly created role as Manager, Cash Operations and Projects, you will lead the national governance of cash operations and retail audit programs across Australia Post’s retail network, ensuring strong financial integrity, risk management, and compliance outcomes.
This is a highly visible and influential role, requiring a confident and engaging leader who thrives on building strong relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments. Leading a team, you will partner closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive consistency, uplift capability, and embed best-practice approaches across cash management and audit delivery.
With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, change and project delivery, you will champion initiatives that enhance controls, optimise cash flow, and evolve ways of working through automation and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in leading conversations, shaping outcomes, and bringing energy and clarity to complex challenges across the network.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Develop and maintain consistent frameworks, policies, and controls for cash management, audit, and fraud prevention across the network.
- Lead business continuity planning for retail cash operations to ensure ongoing resilience and cash flow.
- Manage key relationships with cash logistics providers and payment partners to ensure performance, compliance, and value.
- Analyse cash trends and variances to deliver insights that inform strategy and prioritise audit activity.
About you
You bring a high level of attention to detail, with strong analytical, problem‑solving and reporting capabilities. You’re a confident communicator with proven stakeholder management skills, able to engage effectively at all levels, and you have demonstrated experience leading teams and applying financial modelling to support sound decision‑making.
You’ll also need
