The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and commercially minded Fuels Marketing Specialist to lead the Retail Fuels brand and marketing agenda across our network.
In this role, you will develop and execute fuels campaigns, sponsorship strategies and customer offers that drive awareness, consideration and conversion while balancing customer needs, brand priorities and commercial outcomes. Partnering closely with Shell and a broad range of internal stakeholders, you will support delivery of the Annual Marketing Plan and ensure fuels marketing activity is strategically planned, executed and measured for impact.
You Will Provide
- Development and execution of fuels marketing strategies, campaigns and sponsorship activity across the retail network.
- Delivery of customer offers and value-led propositions that improve awareness, engagement and commercial performance.
- Translation of business priorities into compelling customer-facing campaigns and communications.
- Coordination of integrated campaign delivery across Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Operations, Category and agency partners.
- Development of campaign briefs, creative assets, point-of-sale material and customer communications.
- Commercial ownership and optimisation of fuel-related discounts and promotional programs including Shopper Docket, SPS, Flybuys and B2B initiatives.
- Monitoring and reporting of campaign performance to identify insights and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and alignment to ensure activity is delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Governance and compliance support to ensure product messaging and claims remain accurate and aligned to requirements.
- Contribution to improved campaign disciplines, planning processes and ways of working.

About You
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, campaign management, brand, retail or customer marketing environments.
- Proven capability developing and delivering marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
- Strong ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders, external partners and agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence tailoring messaging for different audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to convert business objectives into effective customer-facing activity.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in retail, convenience, fuels, FMCG, loyalty, automotive or multi-site environments will be highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline are desirable.
