About The Role...

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician , you will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective delivery of assigned works and deliverables, aligned with Alspec’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand work orders, interpret mechanical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.

• Perform pre-start inspections and regular servicing/maintenance checks, analysing and reporting results.

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with work orders, documentation, drawings, specification, and procedures.

• Maintain and use professional tools of the trade and equipment as they are designed to ensure integrity and safety is not compromised.

• Participate in the development, coaching and mentoring of trainee Technicians.

• Identify, plan, manage and execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Evaluating and quality controlling finished product.

About You

• Successful completion of Tertiary education in engineering.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an engineering environment.

• Aptitude for working independently and managing time efficiently to meet production deadlines.

• Must have sound computer literacy, particularly capabilities in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams)
