About the Role
We’re seeking skilled and safety-conscious Operators to join our team at Bunge’s Gladstone group. In these roles, you’ll be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a range of mobile plant and equipment essential to our grain storage and logistics processes.
These positions are ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, enjoy practical outdoor work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You’ll get involved in a variety of tasks, from operating machinery and equipment to maintaining high grain quality and supporting storage and export operations. You’ll work closely with site staff and play a key role in grain movement, storage and export readiness.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate front end loaders for grain movement and bunker management.
- Support road transport operations, including outturning activities.
- Maintain grain quality during the handling and movement process.
- Ensure bunkers, silos, and storage areas are clean, organised, and well-maintained.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Lead and support seasonal staff during peak periods.
- Assist with other tasks across the group of sites as directed.
About You
- Experience operating mobile plant, machinery or working in a similar hands-on environment (tickets/licences desirable but not essential).
- Current and valid driver’s licence.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and willing to contribute across a range of site activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends during peak periods.
- Willingness and ability to undertake training and develop competency in site-specific tasks and equipment.
