Clever Gear is an acceleration partner for world-class consumer technology brands scaling across Australia and New Zealand. The team has backgrounds across Tesla, Apple, and Google Smart Home - and they operate as an extension of the brands they represent, not just a route to shelf. Their retail footprint spans JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings, Costco, Officeworks, and Harvey Norman, with a dedicated e-commerce operation that most competitors in the space avoid entirely.

The company has grown from three people to a team of ten in sales and marketing since 2022, and the pipeline is still moving.

The Role

New accounts are closing. The Tier 2 portfolio is growing faster than the current team can hold. This role exists to own it.

You will be the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of smaller retail and channel accounts - managing reorders, tracking performance, supporting promotional campaigns, and growing what is already there. These accounts are not static. They come in small and they grow. Your job is to make sure they do.

This is a junior role. Clever Gear is not looking for someone who has done this before. They are looking for someone who is genuinely obsessed with consumer technology, commercial enough to care about how accounts perform, and disciplined enough to work independently most of the week.

What You'll Do

  • Own day-to-day management of a defined portfolio of Tier 2 retail and channel accounts

  • Handle reorders, stock queries, pricing, and order coordination from entry through to fulfilment

  • Track account performance and SKU data - flag what is moving, flag what is not

  • Identify opportunities to broaden range and grow revenue within existing accounts

  • Support promotional campaigns and seasonal sell-in activity

  • Keep the CRM current and account records accurate

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine passion for consumer technology - you know the products and you care about them

  • Strong follow-through - you track what you start, respond fast, and do not drop things

  • Commercially curious - you want accounts to grow, not just be maintained

  • Comfortable reading and working with data

  • Self-driven from home - you do not need structure to stay on top of your work

  • Clear, professional written communication

  • Right to work in Australia

What's on Offer

  • $60,000 - $70,000 base + superannuation, depending on experience

  • Performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary

  • Hybrid working - 3 days per fortnight in the Chadstone office, the rest from home
