With continued growth, we’re looking for Commercial Lawyer to join the team.

You will play a key role in supporting the success of the Irwell Law team by delivering clear, pragmatic, legal advice across a wide range of commercial matters through our brand new advice helpline.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thinking on their feet and helping clients navigate day to day legal challenges. You’ll provide practical, easy to understand advice across a wide range of commercial issues, supporting our clients when they need it the most. This will be a phone-based role.

What will you be doing?

Providing sound, easily understanding advise to our clients on topics such as:

  • Buying and selling businesses
  • Commercial contracts and supplier agreements
  • Commercial leases and property matters
  • Business structuring and corporate governance
  • Trademarks, IP and brand protection
  • Privacy, data and technology matters
  • Regulatory compliance and risk management
  • Commercial disputes and debt recovery
  • Deeds of release

What will you need?

  • 3 yrs PQE with strong Commercial Law experience.
  • A current unrestricted APC
  • Confidence advising on a broad range of commercial matters
  • The ability to communicate and break down complex legal queries into simple, concise advice.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly, via the phone.
