This role represents a fantastic opportunity to sell the World's leading Network Monitoring and Network Security tool used by the vast majority of the Fortune 500, boasting over 10 years in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
In today’s highly complex and rapidly changing IT environments their solutions play an essential role, providing the operational intelligence required to assure that critical networked applications and services run efficiently and reliably, meeting or exceeding user expectations, and increasing return on investment from the infrastructure.
With threat detection front and centre of ASX listed Companies as well as Government Agencies, this is a compelling solution to be selling with massive growth ahead.
This position is responsible for direct sales into key Enterprise and State Government accounts. Also, some of the key accounts that you will inherit will include the largest Miners in Australia and the role will be split 80/20 between net new business acquisition and upselling and cross-selling to existing accounts.
Of the twenty ASX200 listed accounts that currently use this solution, they all have different reasons, meaning the user case is very broad and you have an extensive tool bag to sell from; all centred around finding gaps in networks and preventing breaches in the future.
Essentially, you will be selling in a niche area for the market leader in a growing, highly topical vertical.
This is also an autonomous, entrepreneurial role with plenty of support from a highly knowledgeable SE and support team. You can work fully remotely from home but must be based in Melbourne.
The average deal size will be around $300K - $500K in a role that will see your earning potential exceed $400K if you start to hit the aggressive accelerators in place above the very reasonable quarterly targets.
The OTE will be around $400K with a 50/50 split between the base salary and the comms as well as an $18K car allowance on top of that and private health cover.
To be successful you must have at least 5 years' proven track record of selling a similar, technical solution into mid-market or enterprise accounts. Most important, though, is an entrepreneurial, pro-active approach and a hunter's mentality.
