The opportunity

Due to the continued success of Downers Energy & Utilities division, our UAM team in Perth is seeking Lineworker's to be part of our team working on the Western Australian Electricity Distribution Network. This opportunity will allow you to contribute to the community and make a difference for a better future. The role is primarily based in the Perth metro area with opportunity for occasional regional work (additional rates will apply for work away from home). The role does not involve call outs or emergencies, although you will have to be available to work full time hours minimum Mon-Friday. On occasion, shift work requirements may apply. Candidates with Western Power qualifications and prior experience are highly regarded. Candidates with Streetlight experience are also highly regarded.

About you

• Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead (Essential).
• Construction Induction White Card.
• Current Western Power Accreditations (Desirable)
• Current MR Drivers Licence (or above)
• Current HRW licence with WP endorsement (other HRWL qualifications highly regarded).
• Previous Streetlight repair / replacement experience. (Desirable)
