The salary for this position will be $213,729 per annum as appointment will be after July 2026

What is our Senior Project Director Digital role?

Reporting to and supporting the Executive Director, Commissioning and Redevelopment, the Senior Project Director Digital leads the strategic direction, planning and delivery of digital components for the New Women and Babies Hospital Project (NWBHP) within North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS).

This role is accountable for driving the end-to-end development and coordination of digital initiatives aligned to the NWBHP, ensuring integration with broader clinical and infrastructure outcomes. Key responsibilities include leading strategic planning, overseeing complex consulting and contracting arrangements, and ensuring effective governance and delivery of digital solutions.

Working in close partnership with Health Support Services (HSS) and key stakeholders, the Senior Project Director Digital monitors progress, manages risks, and provides clear reporting on digital deliverables to support successful project outcomes.

How your application will be assessed

The initial assessment will focus on

Criteria 1 - Extensive experience in leading, delivering and managing high risk, multi-million dollar and complex ICT programs of work.

Criteria 3 - Shapes and manages strategy including; influencing the strategic direction of an organisation; developing strategic plans and policies consistent with organisational objectives; and identifying strategic initiatives and opportunities in a multi-functional organisation.

Criteria 6 - Communicates and influences effectively including; eliciting positive support and leverage from internal and external partnerships; clearly articulating organisational objectives and the negotiation of mutually acceptable outcomes; creating an environment that positively encourages open communication and the discussion of new ideas and initiatives to support the achievement of organisational objectives.

There is no requirement to address essential criteria 2, 4, 5 and 7 from the JDF in your written application. If you are shortlisted, those criteria will be assessed during the interview and through reference checks.
