As a Junior Master Data Officer, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of critical business data across our mining, maintenance, procurement, and inventory systems. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll help ensure information is captured, updated, and managed in line with company standards, supporting effective decision-making and operational performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain material, vendor, inventory, and related master data records
  • Ensure data is accurate, complete, and compliant with established governance standards and business rules
  • Support data quality assurance activities and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Investigate and assist with resolving data discrepancies and system issues
  • Work closely with procurement, maintenance, inventory, and operational teams to support business requirements
  • Assist with reporting, data validation, and system administration tasks
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records relating to data management processes

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other business systems
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Previous experience in administration, data entry, inventory, procurement, supply chain, or master data management will be highly regarded
