What you'll do
As the Assistant Marketing Manager for Customer Marketing within BIG W, you will support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns that support our annual and quarterly go-to-market plans. You will play a pivotal role in driving both customer and business growth objectives while championing the BIG W brand across all touchpoints.
Coordinate the delivery of marketing campaigns from inception to completion, managing creative development and driving effective communication across all channels.
Assist in the development of clear marketing briefs, oversee day-to-day campaign coordination, and ensure critical paths, deadlines, and budgets (including invoicing) are met.
Partner with internal channel experts, Category Marketing, Commercial teams, and external agency partners to ensure the efficient delivery of creative assets.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing channels and tactics, participating in post-implementation reviews to boost campaign performance.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all customer touchpoints accurately reflect the BIG W brand strategy.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a naturally curious and highly organised marketer with a deeply ingrained customer-first mindset. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values simple yet effective solutions, and consistently uses data to inform your thinking and drive continuous improvement. Working end-to-end as part of one team, you embrace freedom within a framework to deliver outstanding results.
Proven experience in coordinating and successfully delivering fully integrated marketing campaigns.
A highly proactive approach with strong attention to detail, capable of simultaneously managing multiple project streams, deadlines, and budgets.
The ability to adapt quickly and maintain disciplined ways of working within a dynamic, fast-paced retail landscape.
Strong interpersonal skills to build productive, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
