You will lead a team of Applications Specialists who sit at the heart of how our services operate.
Your team is the voice of frontline staff, working closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure systems are practical, reliable, and genuinely support the way people work.
You won’t just keep systems running, you will help shape how they evolve.
What you will be doing
We are seeking an experienced Applications Team Leader to lead the day‑to‑day management of our applications and systems environment and
- Leading and developing a team of applications specialists, building capability, culture and collaboration.
- Acting as the bridge between operational teams and IT, translating needs into system improvements.
- Connecting with stakeholders across the organisation to improve workflows and user experience.
- Working with vendors to ensure systems are reliable and fit-for-purpose.
- Ensuring we have continuous improvement in how we support the business through systems.
About you and your new opportunity
We are looking for leadership experience or potential and open on your background, where you might be:
- A Senior Applications / Systems specialist ready to step into leadership.
- A team leader from another IT or business area who understands systems and operations.
- Someone who naturally brings people together and improves how things work.
What matters most:
- Proven ability to lead, mentor or influence people.
- Strong stakeholder skills to build trust and translate needs into action.
- A practical understanding of how systems support business operations.
- A mindset focused on improvement, not just maintenance.
Possess or willingness to obtain
- Possess a current National Police Certificate – or the ability to acquire.
- Possess Working with Children (Blue Card) – or the ability to acquire.
- Possess Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS) – or the ability to acquire.
