Job Description
- Retail Manager - Murray Bridge (SA).
- Support the Centre Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a SA Real Estate License.

- Previous experience in retail property or shopping centre management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and retailer relationship management expertise.
- Sound understanding of retail leasing, tenancy coordination and operations.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to link retail performance to asset outcomes.
- High attention to detail across operations, reporting and compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications in property, business or related discipline (desirable).
- Current SA Real Estate Licence (or willingness to obtain).
The role
This role offers the opportunity to join a high performing team supporting a leading national landlord, working primarily on site at a well-established shopping centre in Murray Bridge. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will also have oversight of a portfolio of smaller neighbourhood centres.
This role extends beyond routine operational responsibilities. It requires the cultivation of strong, collaborative relationships with retailers and key stakeholders, alongside the strategic management of net property income. The position also encompasses the enhancement of retailer performance and the delivery of elevated customer experiences, all in alignment with the overarching asset strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Retailer & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with retailers to drive sales performance and occupancy outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retailers, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide insights on retailer trading performance.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain exceptional centre presentation, safety and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate maintenance and capital works.
- Partner with the Operations Manager to deliver optimal asset performance and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with lease obligations, policies, and legislative requirements.
Commercial & Financial Performance
- Support delivery of the asset’s financial objectives including income growth and cost management.
- Assist with tenancy schedules, lease events, and reporting.
- Analyse retailer performance and contribute to data-led decision making and asset strategy execution.
Customer Experience & Centre Performance
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance the overall shopping experience and community connection.
- Support activation, engagement, and initiatives that drive foot traffic and dwell time.
- Help foster a customer first culture across the asset.
Reporting & Governance
- Deliver regular reporting on retailer performance, customer trends, and operational metrics.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration across all systems and processes.
