Mechanical Drafter

AustCorp Executive is partnering with an Engineering & Manufacturing business to recruit a Mechanical Drafter to join the Perth team. This company specialises in the design and build of industrial and automation equipment, products are deployed all over the world.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using CAD software
• Prepare IFC drawings for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical parts, assemblies and layouts and diagrams of complex machines and systems
• Create accurate CAD models of existing or off-the-shelf hardware
• Develop and update as-built drawings and documents
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) aligned with design specifications

Your qualifications and skills will include

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Drafting Or Mechanical Trade - Qualifications should align with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 4 or Level 5
• A proven track record designing and drafting with Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor

(3-Month Initial Contract - for the successful and capable person there is a high chance of extension or a permanent offer.
