We are seeking an experienced

Software Architect / Senior Developer to lead the design and development of enterprise-scale solutions supporting

Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) and Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) within the mining industry.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining architecture, software engineering, and technical delivery in a modern cloud-native environment.

• C#, .NET Core, React, and TypeScript
• Microservices Architecture & Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
• RabbitMQ, Redis, and AKKA Framework
• Docker, Kubernetes, and Containerization
• Swagger / AsyncAPI and API Design
• Enterprise Solution Architecture & Design Patterns
• Agile Delivery & Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar)
• Mining Technology, Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS), or Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) experience highly desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions.
• Lead architecture, technical design reviews, and development activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare detailed design documentation including architecture diagrams, data flows, and sequence diagrams.
• Drive Agile delivery, technical planning, estimation, and governance.
• Mentor development teams and promote engineering best practices.
• Ensure software quality, security, and performance standards are met.
• Support mining technology initiatives focused on CAS and AHS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 10–15+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise or mining technology solutions.

Eligibility

Applicants must be currently based in Australia and hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
