Customer Service Officer

Randstad has partnered exclusively with a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services. Due to continued growth our client based in the Welshpool are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team.

Your Duties

• The Customer Service Officer is required to collaborate with the sales, production, and engineering teams on quoting, pricing and product delivery
• Establish customer relationships
• You will be responsible for calculating pricing and generating quotations for all parts and services
• Process all customer and vendor purchase orders in the ERP portal
• Navigate customer portals for retrieving customer orders
• A large part of the role is to manage customer queries and complaints in a timely, respectful and diligent manner
• Required to price and quote all parts utilising software and stock control sheets
• Responsible for intercompany orders
• Accurate record maintenance

About You

• Sales experience, preferred in the Industrial sector (advantageous)
• Mechanical knowledge/aptitude (Prior L&M Radiator experience is advantageous)
• Financial acumen and strong IT skills
• Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system
• Technical, mechanical, and industrial knowledge needed to include blueprint reading
• Experience in preparing a wide variety of reports, spreadsheets and
• documentation
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
