Senior Accountant

About The Role

We are looking for a technically strong Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing technology business. The role is responsible for customer invoicing, month-end close, group consolidation, cash flow reporting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer invoicing and related reporting.
• Lead month-end financial close including group consolidations, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports including cash flow statements and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage Australian statutory compliance including BAS, GST, Payroll Tax, and insurance requirements.
• Drive process improvements and assist with ad hoc finance projects.

Skills & Experience

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification (or working towards completion).
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience with group consolidations.
• Proficiency in Xero (general ledger and reporting) is highly regarded; experience with Syft Analytics for management reporting and consolidations is a strong advantage.
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business, including familiarity with recurring revenue models, deferred revenue, and usage-based billing, is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
