Program Coordinator
RAA
- Exciting opportunity to join SA’s iconic RAA in our new Grenfell St Office
- Full-time permanent position with flexible working arrangements
- Join a tight-knit team with a fun, inclusive and supportive culture
Ready to play a pivotal role in shaping transformation across one of South Australia’s most trusted organisations? This is your chance to join a high-performing team driving meaningful change across RAA’s Strategic Projects portfolio.
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and relationship‑driven Program Coordinator to support the delivery of key programs and initiatives. If you love keeping complex work humming, bringing people together, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks, you’ll feel right at home here.
Why you’ll love this role
You’ll be central to program and project delivery - the person who keeps schedules aligned, stakeholders informed, risks visible, and governance tight. This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in creating order, clarity and momentum.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project Delivery & Portfolio Management
- Lead project delivery across the portfolio, monitoring health and escalating risks, issues and dependencies as needed.
- Maintain integrated project plans, schedules, RAID logs and change request registers across SharePoint and Jira.
- Support resource planning and budget tracking, coordinating activities across project streams, business units and the implementation partner.
- Champion RAA’s TMO Governance Framework and drive continuous improvement in project coordination processes and tools.
Project Performance & Reporting
- Own integrated portfolio, program and project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving risks to delivery timelines.
- Produce performance dashboards and reports covering status, timelines, risks, budgets, benefits and value realisation.
- Drive governance forums including Quarterly Business Reviews and the Strategic Program Board, ensuring decision-ready materials and tracked outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, governance frameworks and reporting capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a reliable coordination point across the transformation portfolio.
- Translate project insights into clear communications that connect delivery progress to portfolio objectives.
- Lead stakeholder engagement in partnership with the Senior Manager VMO, ensuring consistent and targeted communication across the portfolio.
- Champion a high-performance project culture built on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination or management within medium to large-scale transformation or change programs.
- Experience within structured project governance frameworks (PMO/TMO); exposure to Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies desirable.
- Highly organised with strong administrative capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- High initiative – proactive, self-directed and comfortable working without close supervision.
- Strong relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders, with empathy for the impacts of change.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with sound judgement around confidential and sensitive project information.
- Financial awareness and the ability to monitor cost and expenditure against approved budgets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams and the broader Microsoft Office suite (iConnect and Visio super user access required).
Qualifications (desirable)
- Project Management qualification such as CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent (desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management or a related discipline (desirable)
