Senior Accountant - Business Services

We are an accounting firm located in Parramatta, currently seeking a senior accountant to join our professional and friendly team. The role is office-based with WFH options after probation. The office is near Westfields and just a short walk from the station.

The Role Has a Variety Of Functions, Including

• Providing guidance and advice to your own portfolio of clients across various sectors
• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
• Completion of BAS, IAS and other statutory requirements
• Liaise with auditors and other third parties
• Liaise with the ATO, Revenue NSW and ASIC regarding client compliance matters
• Review work prepared by junior staff, provide feedback and guidance.
• Provide support in other areas, as required

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who has:

• Minimum 5 years Business Services experience
• High attention to detail and keen to learn emerging software platforms
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• High degree of proficiency with Xero, XPM and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong time management, organisation and delegation skills

Accounting work is supported by one full-time direct report.
