The role

As the Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, development and growth of our commercial and pool heat pump portfolio. This is a senior, high-impact role where you’ll own the product lifecycle end-to-end — from roadmap and product ideation through to go-to-market execution — driving adoption across trade, commercial and specifier channels. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Marketing, you’ll bring new and existing products to market, ensuring they meet customer needs, deliver strong commercial outcomes and strengthen Rheem’s position in a growing, sustainability-focused category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for all product including the commercial heat pump ranges
  • Lead go-to-market planning, including pricing, launches and sales enablement
  • Drive product commercialisation with high-quality technical collateral
  • Partner with sales teams to increase product adoption
  • Use market insights and competitor analysis to inform product decisions
  • Manage end-to-end delivery across R&D, manufacturing and supply chain
  • Take ownership of product performance, pricing and margin outcomes
  • Collaborate with marketing and agencies to deliver clear, compelling messaging
  • Mentor and support junior product team members

About you

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or hold advanced qualifications in Plumbing/Hydraulics
  • Proven experience in product management within technical or engineered products
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margins and P&L inputs
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and deliver complex projects to market
  • Experience engaging with trade, commercial or specification channels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into practical outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing and developing direct reports
  • Self-motivated, outcomes-focused and driven to deliver measurable commercial results
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
  • Open to interstate and occasional international travel
