About The Opportunity

  • A specialist non-bank lender providing tailored funding to professional services firms and small businesses across Australia is building out its front-line sales capability.
  • This is an exciting market-facing sales role for an experienced originator who can win new business and build referral and distribution partnerships that drive sustainable deal flow.
  • You will operate across multiple verticals underserved by the major banks, with the autonomy to own deals end toend and the backing of a small, high-performing team.

The role is Sydney-based, servicing national markets.

The role

Reporting To The Managing Director, You Will

  • Originate and close new business, structuring proposals and preparing deal rationale for credit
  • Build on established markets while breaking into new ones
  • Match a broad range of funding solutions to each client's needs
  • Own client relationships from the first conversation through to settlement
  • Build, manage and grow referral and distribution-partner relationships, including platform partners and professional networks
  • Work allocated qualified opportunities from the sales development team alongside your own pipeline
  • Carry and deliver against new-business targets

About You

  • At least 5 years in frontline roles across business lending, credit or finance broking.
  • A proven originator who can close.
  • An established network of referral or professional-services relationships you can activate
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy
  • Credible and persuasive, able to build trust quickly with clients and partners
  • Energetic, self-directed, and comfortable owning a number
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to drive an agenda through ambiguity and change
