About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support Vinidex’s Australian manufacturing operations across a national, multi-site footprint. This role is based in our Smithfield manufacturing site, with some travel required to ensure you stay connected and have your finger on the pulse!
Ideally you are a hands-on, operational HRBP and enjoy partnering closely with manufacturing leaders, providing practical advice across employee relations, industrial matters, performance management, engagement and capability development.
Working within a collaborative and supportive APAC HR Team, you will play a key role in supporting a positive employee relations climate, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and enterprise agreements, and embedding Aliaxis HR programs at site level for our manufacturing and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include
- Partner with site and functional leaders to deliver effective HR support aligned to business needs
- Provide advice and coaching on employee and industrial relations, including performance management, investigations, grievances and disciplinary matters
- Lead enterprise agreement negotiation and implementation and manage day-to-day IR matters in a manufacturing environment
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to promote engagement, safety and positive workplace culture
- Implement core HR programs including performance, talent, engagement, DEI and remuneration initiatives
- Support organisational change initiatives and workforce planning activities
About You
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a manufacturing, commercial or industrial environment (preferred)
- Solid capability in Employee & Industrial Relations (EIR), ideally within a unionised setting
- Experienced in supporting multi-site, dispersed workforces and confident advising and coaching leaders on complex people matters
- An agile and dynamic operator who thrives on bringing people together with creative problem solving
- Practical, commercially minded and comfortable operating in fast-paced operational environments
- Strategically focused with str7ong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experienced with HRIS systems such as Workday or Workable is advantageous
- Willingness to travel domestically as required
