About the opportunity

The Retail Operations Manager (North) is a high-impact role driving change across our Retail Network. You’ll partner with Territory Managers and Field teams to bring strategy to life, delivering key initiatives, enhancing customer experience, and enabling operational excellence. Acting as the link between execution and enterprise strategy, you’ll influence widely and champion a One Team mindset.

This is a fixed term opportunity until mid-Jan 2027

What you’ll deliver with us

Reporting to the GM Retail Operations North, you’ll drive clarity and alignment across the region by translating strategy into focused priorities and embedding a strong, consistent operating rhythm. Through effective leadership forums and forward planning, you’ll ensure teams are aligned, prepared and set up for success. You’ll also champion smarter ways of working, leveraging innovation to simplify complexity, unlock capacity, and keep teams focused on delivering the outcomes that matter most.

You’ll also

  • Own the translation layer from strategy to execution.
  • Drive operating rhythms, structure and governance across the team.
  • Build content, messaging and leadership narratives for a variety of forums for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery and accountability of business initiatives.
  • Support capability uplift with a focus on AI and data.
  • Enable consistent execution at scale across the North retail network.

About you

You’re a highly adaptable and self-driven operator who thrives in ambiguity and moves quickly to deliver outcomes. You bring strong end-to-end project delivery capability, confidently influencing and aligning stakeholders. With advanced Microsoft skills and a growing passion for AI and data, you’re curious, forward-thinking, and continuously building your capability to lead smarter, more efficient ways of working.

You’ll also need

  • Ability to analyse data and insights, translating complex information into clear, actionable messaging that drives understanding and alignment.
  • Highly developed communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous change and improvement.
  • Strong customer focus, consistently prioritising customer experience in decision-making and driving improvements that enhance service outcomes.

How we’ll deliver for you

  • Join asupportive, high-trust team culture where people genuinely have each other’s backs and are driven to succeed together.
  • Learn from inspiring leaders who are deeply invested in growing their people and helping you build a meaningful career.
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together.
