The Opportunity

Our National Fleet team have an opportunity for a qualified welder/boilermaker to join their day shift team based in Truganina.

Working within a long servicing, well run team, you will contribute to the maintenance and reliability across the K&S Group’s National fleet.

Reporting to the leading hand & workshop manager, you will work on a variety of projects and have exposure to the diversity of our divisions within the K&S Group.

Whether it be general repairs or custom building transport solutions for our customers goods, you will enjoy a large variety of experiences within a supportive team of professionals.

What you’ll bring

You will be an experienced welder and able to perform MIG and Arc welding along with some TIG, along with boiler making.

Your strong desire to follow safety processes and procedures is a core requirement for this established and well-run team and you will be rewarded with support and training to ensure your success.

You will have

Trade Qualification in fabrication, welding and boiler making

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete work accurately

Strong MIG, TIG and arc welding and fabrication skills

A high level of safety awareness to ensure jobs are completed to requirements

Strong communication skills and ability to get along with all members in a team
