As an AI Governance Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role at the intersection of innovation and trust, ensuring our claims solutions are designed, deployed and managed with integrity at every stage. By embedding robust governance across the AI lifecycle, you’ll empower our teams to innovate with confidence, protect customer outcomes, and strengthen the foundations of a more resilient, transparent and future-ready business.

In this role, you will:

  • Embed end-to-end AI governance across Claims to enable safe, scalable innovation
  • Identify and mitigate model, data and ethical risks to protect customer and business outcomes
  • Enable compliant AI adoption by aligning initiatives with risk appetite and regulatory expectations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate governance into AI design, build and deployment
  • Establish and monitor effective controls to ensure ongoing model performance and reliability
  • Deliver actionable insights and uplift capability to strengthen AI risk maturity across Claims

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in operational risk, model risk, data governance, or AI governance, preferably within financial services or insurance
  • Apply practical knowledge of AI, data or model risk to support responsible innovation
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way for diverse audiences
  • Build strong relationships to influence outcomes and embed effective governance practices
  • Use critical thinking and sound judgement to identify risks and inform balanced decisions
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in a fast-evolving technology and regulatory landscape
  • Act with integrity and a strong customer focus, championing fairness, accountability and trust
