Southport Sharks is one of Queensland's largest hospitality and entertainment destinations, serving thousands of members and guests every week across our restaurants, events, café and hotel operations.

We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a strong production kitchen background to join our culinary leadership team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our production kitchen, ensuring high-quality food is prepared efficiently, consistently and at scale. You'll play a key role in menu execution, team leadership, food safety and operational performance.

What You'll Bring

  • Trade qualified Chef
  • Proven experience in a high-volume production kitchen, hotel, resort, club or catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of bulk food preparation, buffet operations and large-scale functions
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • Experience leading and developing kitchen teams
  • Strong understanding of food safety, stock control and cost management
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
