We’re looking for a Workforce Planner to join our team in Perth, playing a critical role in ensuring the right people are on site and keeping our operations moving.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role where you’ll coordinate workforce planning, mobilisation, and rostering activities while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and site teams.

As a Workforce Planner, you will support the end-to-end workforce planning lifecycle including forecasting, scheduling, mobilisation, and real-time workforce coordination to ensure seamless service delivery.

You’ll be the key link between site operations, workforce teams, and casual pools—ensuring coverage is maintained and operational needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage rostering, scheduling, and mobilisation of workforce across sites
  • Facilitate and contribute to site meetings and workforce planning discussions
  • Oversee casual workforce pools, including sourcing and filling immediate gaps
  • Liaise closely with Site Administrators and key stakeholders
  • Organise and track pre-employment checks, onboarding, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor workforce coverage and proactively manage staffing shortages
  • Maintain accurate workforce data and reporting using Excel and workforce systems including casual workforce apps

Key Competencies & Experience

  • Experience in workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, or mobilisation
  • Strong Microsoft skills including Excel
  • Demonstratable administrative skills from a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organisation
  • Ability to work in a structured planning-focused role with competing priorities
  • Confidence in coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders
