Ability Action Australia's Western Sydney team are looking for Behaviour Support Practitioners of all experience and suitability levels in Penrith, Blacktown or Windsor.

In this role you will
- Supporting NDIS participants, along with their families and carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
- Owning the assessment, development and delivery of evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment
- Driving meaningful goals and measurable outcomes, using a positive behaviour support framework and a commitment to eliminating restrictive practices
- Ensuring plans reflect each participant’s goals, strengths and what matters most to them
- Building the capability, confidence and understanding of those supporting participants in their day-to-day lives
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced practitioners
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A degree qualification as an allied health professional
- Experience in report writing
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with a drive to improve outcomes and test new ideas
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
