What you'll be responsible for

This is your opportunity to lead some of Australia’s most recognised coffee partnerships across petrol, convenience and non-grocery retail with real purpose, autonomy, and visibility. Day to day, you’ll drive the strategic direction of your accounts – delivering joint business plans (customer and UCC at the core), leading commercial conversations, and identifying opportunities for growth. You’ll influence contract terms, contribute to tenders, and translate insight into action. Every decision you make will reflect both the customer and the business - balancing partnership and performance. Supported by a dynamic, highly experienced leader and leading one direct report, you’ll work with a strong cross‑functional network across Sales, Finance, Training, and Machinery to deliver a seamless, high‑impact customer experience.

About you

  • Approximately 5 years’ experience managing national or key accounts, with a proven track record of growing, retaining, and strengthening strategic customer relationships. Coffee experience is a bonus, but not essential - strong backgrounds in beverages, snacking, or broader FMCG will also be considered.
  • Strong commercial capability - confident in margin management, forecasting, and negotiation, with a clear focus on driving both growth and profitability.
  • A confident and clear communicator - adaptable, authentic, and able to influence at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Resilient, emotionally intelligent, and self‑aware, with the ability to manage long‑term, complex customer relationships and navigate challenges with balance and professionalism.
  • Ambitious and growth‑oriented - you may be stepping up from your current role, but you’re hungry for more responsibility, ready to stretch yourself, and keen to grow with the business.
  • Previous experience leading a small team, or mentoring others is desirable but not essential.

This is a permanent role, 38 hours per week, based in our Preston location.
