ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Support Officer plays an integral role in delivering a professional and welcoming first impression for participants. The Business Support Officer will be the first point of contact for participants via phone and email, along with a variety of other administrative functions including, but not limited to, assisting with general database management, general administrative support across the organisation, and targeted administrative support such as rostering for our Peer Mentor team. The Business Support Officer is also responsible for ensuring all public areas & meeting rooms are always tidy and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to referrals, correspondence, email and enquiries to the business as assigned.
  • Provide information to potential and current AYS participants, including the process for intake, planning available supports and referral pathways.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.
