The Opportunity

You will deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations — including menu planning, food quality, staff leadership, hygiene standards and budgeting. Your regular working hours will be between 9:00 and 17:00, providing consistency and balance in your day.

Your leadership will ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, beautifully prepared meals in a warm, welcoming and wellmanaged environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring Cooks and Kitchen Assistants
  • Managing rosters, budgets and daily kitchen operations
  • Overseeing menu reviews and nutritional standards
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene, safety and compliance
  • Creating a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture

Who We are Looking For

  • Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
  • Experience in Aged Care or similar environment (ideal)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to problemsolve and maintain high quality standards
  • Computer literacy and confidence with documentation
  • Warm, professional manner and genuine respect for older people
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & COVID19 vaccination
  • Understanding of Traditional Asian Meals — Ability to plan and prepare authentic traditional Asian dishes that meet cultural expectations, dietary needs and agedcare nutrition standards.
