Product General Manager - Financials

We are looking for a Product General Manager to lead our TechnologyOne Financials product division. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the TechnologyOne Financials product, guiding its development and growth to help organisations manage their financial operations more efficiently.

You will ensure the product not only meets current operational needs but also anticipates future challenges, including evolving regulatory and compliance requirements. By partnering with internal teams and engaging directly with customers, you will shape the product roadmap, drive innovation, and deliver solutions that support smarter, more effective financial management operations.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the development and execution of your Product Strategy, ensuring progress is communicated and outcomes are achieved.
• Providing thought leadership, identifying opportunities to strengthen long-term profitability and competitiveness.
• Applying disciplined portfolio management and data-driven decision making to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Overseeing the full product lifecycle - from design and prototype through to testing, launch, and release.
• Anticipating customer and industry trends to manage risk and maximise product advantage.
• Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and customer advocacy.
• Taking full P&L accountability, optimising resources, and managing the business unit budget.
• Building, motivating, and developing a collaborative and achievement-focused team culture.
• Attracting and retaining top talent through effective succession planning, skills development, and engagement initiatives.
• Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Strong industry and technical knowledge, with experience in financials enterprise products (TechnologyOne expertise highly regarded).
• Proven leadership capability, with experience delivering strategic goals through high-performing teams.
• Skilled communicator, able to set vision, provide direction, and share information clearly and openly.
• Commercial acumen, with a data-informed approach to decision making that balances profitability, enterprise strategy, and customer needs.
• Ability to inspire and engage teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
