What You’ll Do

As a Lead Fire and Hydraulics Modeller, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality Fire and hydraulic building services designs across a range of projects. You’ll lead modelling activities, support junior team members, and work closely with engineers and project teams to bring designs to life.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead the development of Fire and Hydraulics models and documentation for building services projects
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and structural
  • Oversee and review models to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards
  • Support the delivery of detailed design documentation (drawings, layouts, schematics)
  • Mentor and guide junior modellers and drafters
  • Contribute to improving modelling standards, processes, and digital delivery
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve design clashes and coordination issues

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience in hydraulic modelling within building services
  • Proven capability using tools such as Revit (essential) and AutoCAD
  • Solid understanding of Australian standards and codes relevant to hydraulics
  • Experience working in a consulting or engineering environment
  • Ability to lead modelling coordination across multiple disciplines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate with engineers and stakeholders
